Serving a meal that pleases my guests has been one of my greatest pleasures. So, when people wanted to know if they could book my home for their special meals, it was my pride and joy to showcase the dishes of my land, Kodagu, and the various cuisines I grew up with. I lay no claims to "authentic" cuisines as i work for the pleasure it gives me and I serve the cuisine as it appeals to my pallet.
My foray into the bulk catering world began in 2004, where i prepared 6 dishes for the Satyam Carnival in Chennai. The incredible response to the dishes inspired me to take catering up on a regular basis. Today, I cater a wide variety of cuisines specializing in Kodava and other food.
Orders can be customized in terms of spice levels, flavors, combinations and fillings and the menu can be tailored to include themes and specific preferences.
In this regard, I have the privilage of mentioning the Kodava Food Festival that I helped curate at the Taj Fisherman's Cove and Novotel, Chamiers Road. I have also had the pleasure of sharing my knowledge and insights on Kodava cuisine with other chefs and restaurateurs too.
